In the factories where chemical engineering is being used, much of the equipment is intricately connected and operated automatically without stop for one to two years as a result of seeking safety, energy and resource saving. The designing, construction and management of such factories require a wide range of knowledge and techniques to handle intricate matters systematically and logically. Knowledge of various fields and technologies which manage complicated matters systematically and reasonably is required to design or control such factories. Therefore, we conduct education within a wide range of fields such as chemistry, mechanical engineering, electric and electronic engineering, and materials engineering to name a few. Skill training is also conducted so that students can process large-scaled and complicated matters systematically and reasonably.

As a result, graduates are not capable of becoming engineers in the university's factories, but also of playing important roles as project engineers who accomplish businesses by organizing groups of engineers with various specialized fields, and as team leaders of research and development on boundary and integrated regions in various, specialized fields. Furthermore, over 80% of undergraduates go on to the Graduate School, earning their Master's and Doctor's degrees and later taking active roles in every manufacturing industry.
