We cover a wide range of topics including "artificial organs," "tissue engineering," "production of biopharmaceutical proteins such as antibodies," "development of gene introduction techniques," "machine learning," and "algae."
Our aim is to achieve "world firsts" and to be the best in the world.
We believe that cutting-edge research requires cutting-edge analytical instruments. That's why we provide well-equipped research facilities where you can conduct experiments.

For International Students
Welcome international students!
Kamihira laboratory welcomes excellent internatioanl students (Masters and Doctoral) and we currently have an international student from China, Korea, Rwanda, Bangladesh, Namibia.
You can enter Master course / Doctoral course.If you are interested, please contact prof. Kamihira by e-mail.
Student schedule
A week, a month at KAMIHIRA Lab
- Seminar on Wednesday morning (introduction of papers with all participants, make a presentation about once every six months)
- Interim presentation of research content by group on Friday morning (once every 4 weeks)
One year at KAMIHIRA Lab
- Overall interim report meeting in July (first half) and January (second half)

Graduate Career Paths
Many of our students pursue further studies in the Master's program (Doctoral Program for Advanced Science and Technology) after graduation. Additionally, we welcome students who wish to pursue doctoral studies!
In terms of employment, our graduates find opportunities in a wide range of fields, from chemical manufacturing companies to pharmaceutical enterprises, and even universities. They utilize the knowledge gained in chemical engineering and the research conducted in KAMIHIRA Laboratory to secure diverse employment opportunities.
